We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop and implement compelling stories about our innovative products and services with our customers and internal team members. You will build the go-to-market (GTM) plan for our bike and accessory products, manage our GTM marketing calendar and drive internal alignment and execution across product, operations, and marketing teams. In this role, you will synthesize sales and customer data into insights that will help inform our product team’s roadmap and continuously improve our brand positioning, competitive differentiation, and creative assets.
This role reports to the Head of Brand Marketing and can be based anywhere in the US or Canada.

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 5+ years of experience launching complex products to internal and external audiences in compelling, eye-catching ways
  • The ability to develop integrated marketing campaigns to support sales through direct-to-consumer / ecommerce and retail store channels
  • A data-driven decision maker, able to consume existing research and identify new data sources to inform product marketing decisions
  • A keen understanding of customers’ needs and desires throughout the buying journey
  • A track record of creating internal product launch materials that enable sales teams to create excitement with customers and drive sales
  • Strong project and program manager, able to build consensus and lead cross-functional teams from concept to execution
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail with physical consumer products, especially hardgoods and products with a lot of innovative features and materials. 
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and are excited about creating structure.  You’ve done it before and are up for the challenge to do it within a high-growth, ambitious organization.
  • You are customer driven and put the customer at the center of every decision.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker that can funnel ideas into measurable tests

Had you been with us last month, you would have:

  • Led cross-functional teams through multiple product launches
  • Partnered with product, supply chain, merchandising, and brand teams to plan product launches in 2022 and beyond
  • Developed product marketing strategies, authored briefs and reviewed marketing plans and final products, ensuring the most important and unique features of Rad products are showcased in a way that elevates the brand for novice and discerning customers.  
  • Participated in the steering committee for Rad’s future product roadmap
  • Acted as a key communicator with 3rd party product reviewers, providing them with comprehensive, eye-opening explanations and stats around Rad products. Invited product managers to join in on the conversation where appropriate to provide additional technical detail, resulting in product reviews which showcase Rad’s DNA as an innovator and leading expert.
