As the Manufacturing Manager at our Blacktown Dairy and Beverage site with a highly engaged team of around 30 across 3 shifts, you will own and drive value through the significant levers of safety, people, quality, efficiency, and cost.   With your leadership capability to “get things done” safely and effectively, you will uplift capability across the site to ensure and embed a culture of continuous improvement whilst maintaining the highest safety standards.With a proven ability to inspire, develop and transform a strong tenured team, you will drive operational improvements across the site acting as the catalyst for change.Your key responsibilities will be to:<ul><li>Demonstrate genuine safety-first leadership, leading by example and ensuring that all Company policies, procedures, and processes are adhered to, understood, and practiced</li><li>Develop front line capabilities, continuous improvement and foster Lean manufacturing practises to achieve high performance</li><li>Setting the overall strategy and standards for best to improve efficiency minimise production downtime</li><li>Manage daily and weekly production schedule for achieving optimum production efficiencies and DIFOT</li><li>Work closely with Quality/Supply Chain and Engineering to optimise production performance and ensuring operational excellence in all areas of production</li><li>Provide leadership, coaching, support, and performance management</li><li>Ensure all ISO, HACCP and GMP standards and practices are achieved.</li></ul>Your skills and experience<ul><li>Visible belief and demonstrated leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture</li><li> knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques</li><li>Working background in manufacturing environment, which embraces operational excellence</li><li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>Strong &amp; effective communication skills to lead and inspire the operations team.</li><li>Proven background in continuous Improvement and change management experience</li><li>Outstanding aptitude to communicate with a wide range of people coupled with coaching &amp; development skills.</li><li>Be outcomes focused with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources</li></ul>
