Our Senior Technical Project Manager-Data will be responsible for the end-to-end cycle of IT Projects, defining project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of delivering and integrating complex initiatives that evolve and transform the business, as well as the ability to lead change and communicate with a wide variety of audiences, both technical and business.

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 8+ years of experience working as a project manager, preferably within both agile and waterfall environments 
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, including Smartsheet and ProjectBoard 
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment possessing strong leadership and facilitation skills, demonstrated ability to influence without positional authority
  • Solid understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, and a passion for developing and managing complex project plans, budgets, and quality deliveries
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail at a direct to consumer company
  • Data warehouse, financial ERP implementation, and warehouse management project experience
  • IT infrastructure implementation experience Ability to positively influence multi-disciplinary teams to get work done

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience managing a team of Project Managers
  • Managing multiple complex systems projects, including ERP, OMS, POS
  • Experience with Shopify, Netsuite, and internal tools

Had you been with us last month, you would have:

  • Managed IT projects and technology components for cross-functional projects as well as projects focused on deploying warehouse automation features and functionality 
  • Prepared and distributed progress reports and managed risks and issues; organized and led project status and working meetings 
  • Run a bi-weekly PMO meeting with department leaders to manage project prioritization and provided timely project status reports to managers and project resources
  • Corrected deviations from plans and performed delivery planning for assigned projects and created relevant project documentation during the project and after project completion
  • Developed strong relationships with internal customers, vendors, and affiliates that were associated with a project
  • Proactively identified and managed the impact of projects to broader organization and worked collaboratively with the larger leadership team, reconciled divergent demands of multiple stakeholders
  • Created and distributed program status reports including project financials, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership levels
  • Additional duties & overtime as required
