What we’re looking for:

We are seeking an experienced brand content lead who is passionate about content development and using brand storytelling across owned, earned and paid channels to drive awareness, deepen customer comprehension, and generate demand and leads.  

Content is your thing - you are not just an “ad” specialist and brief writer, but are a content swiss army knife. You are a hybrid between content marketer, producer and strategist - fluent in overseeing the strategy, development and production processes across a diverse range of content formats: video, website, blog post, infographics, ads, whitepapers, thought leadership, social and podcasts to name a few.   

You have proven experience building brands through best in class content and are a doer who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get in the mix with our creatives and agency partners. You will be responsible for managing campaigns & content that bring Arcadia to life, increase awareness, build comprehension and drive the business forward. You will act as the connective tissue for the brand vision cross-functionally working with Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, B2B Marketing,  Enterprise, Product & Partnerships, among others.

Arcadia is headquartered in New York City and Washington, D.C. We are prioritizing candidates residing in the following states that we are registered in: CA, CO, DC, GA, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, PA,TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA., but this role may be fully remote & will report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing & Comms.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and oversee production and development of brand storytelling initiatives from photo and video capture, to explainer assets, and long form data-driven blog/editorial content
  • Develop a robust library of story assets including photography, videography, testimonials, explainers, case studies that empowers storytelling across the organization.  
  • Oversee the planning and distribution of owned content -- including owned social media, blog, website landing pages and manage/optimize the performance of those channels based on each unique audience and goals.
  • Develop, and deploy a world-class content strategy aimed at educating, empowering, and growing Arcadia’s community of energy innovators and thought leaders 
  • Concept and execute innovative content and B2B campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels
  • Create thematic content and series that stretch over time or align with cultural moments
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing & Management,  Design and Enterprise teams to understand priorities and identify how content can support business and growth 
  • Humanize the Arcadia brand through the creation and elevation of stories around our people, culture, projects, and impact. 
  • Develop and maintain a progressive and future forward approach to content as a brand growth and audience connection tool, keeping Arcadia at the leading edge of relevant conversations and channels. 
  • Manage owned content budget and network of external contractors and agencies 

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand content development, content strategy, and marketing at both B2B and DTC companies
  • Production experience for owned surfaces and digital content, working in house and with third party design & production agencies
  • Exceptional at managing multiple projects at once and communicating with stakeholders
  • Technology or internet industry background  - experience with GTM for SaaS product launches
  • Deep background in creative strategy development
  • Outstanding narrative & storytelling abilities that propel usage, adoption & market momentum
  • Ability to distill highly technical information into simple and direct narratives
  • Known for creativity, innovation & thinking outside the box.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, process orientation, & an analytical mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Passion for our mission, sustainability, & helping drive a clean-energy future

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in design, production or copywriting
  • Experience in Product Marketing
  • Experience developing technical B2B content (e.g. white papers, explainers)
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry space (e.g. fintech)
