The department is composed of three key functions, all of them are closely linked together and all team members will be trained to perform all key functions: (i) documentation of our fee schedules, (ii) maintenance of those fees into our systems and (iii) investigation of queries raised on our invoices.  This is a client facing role where you will interact directly with clients on brokerage related queries. Role ResponsibilitiesBrokerage Management: <ul><li>Provide central documentation for all brokerage rates  </li><li>Ensure the proper documentation and storage of the agreed brokerage rates, adhering to company standards in terms of approval and governance; </li><li>Respond to requests from customers, business, Chief Pricing Officer, other support departments and audit for new, amended or copies of current fee schedules or venue rate cards; </li><li>Notify appropriate personnel within the firm as well as customers of new/amended agreements; </li><li>Engage with relevant departments to automate the brokerage rates or ensure that a manual process is implemented. </li></ul>Brokerage Data Management: :  <ul><li>Responsible for the translation of the fees detailed in the brokerage agreements, into the relevant brokerage data systems, for all relevant products. </li><li>Input brokerage fees in the relevant systems for new/ amended rates and discounts. </li><li>Perform 4/6 eyes checks for the new rates input and regular ad-hoc checks on discounts and rates to ensure reliability of our data. </li></ul><ul><li>Suggest technical enhancements to the systems and work towards centralisation of the brokerage rates. </li></ul>Customer Investigation:  <ul><li>Ensure the effective and efficient management of trade investigations raised by clients following the review of their invoices, liaising with appropriate departments to solve them. </li><li>Perform the brokerage checks requested by the audit. </li></ul><ul><li>Track and analyse the transactions where brokerage has been input manually.  </li><li>Suggest improvement to the systems and processes. </li><li>Design and implement reconciliations and MI/KPIs to support our business and evidence controls </li></ul>General  <ul><li>Ensure that processes are documented and, where possible, that processes are aligned, across business lines and entities. </li><li>Be responsible for the evolution of the function, and any improvements of processes. </li></ul>Training / Mentoring <ul><li>Be open to training junior / other members of the team on the various different process. </li></ul><ul><li>Help to mentor junior members of the team in their career development. </li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills &amp; a proactive approach</li><li>Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment</li><li>Highly effective written &amp; oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience</li><li>Significant experience of working in fast paced or pressured environments</li><li>Highly killed in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li><li>Significant experience of financial markets</li><li>Significant experience in a similar organisation</li><li>Demonstrated experience in training / mentoring junior colleagues</li><li>Demonstrated experience in overseeing colleagues work</li><li>Strong understanding of risk and controls</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Knowledge of the TPICAP brand, functions &amp; structure</li><li>Experience of TPICAP in-house systems</li><li>Experience of change / project management</li></ul>Band &amp; Level – Professional, 5Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
