The role requires a mix of technical troubleshooting, user training, and system monitoring to ensure reliable operations. Following the probationary period, the standard work hours will be 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, requiring the ability to work independently and self-sufficiently for part of the day.The Application Support Analyst will own the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Field incoming problem tickets from end users related to in-cab applications and systems, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.</li><li>Build and maintain knowledge base and training guides for drivers and staff, focusing on system utilization, troubleshooting, and best practices.</li><li>Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime.</li><li>Monitor integrated systems, collaborating with internal teams and third-party providers to resolve issues quickly.</li><li>Proactively assess fleet technology performance, analyze data, and recommend enhancements to improve safety and efficiency.</li><li>Test fixes, perform post-resolution follow-ups, and ensure issues are fully resolved.</li><li>Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to stakeholders including management, end users, and vendors.</li></ul>Your experience and education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>3–5 years of proven experience supporting or deploying in-cab technology solutions, including fleet management and camera systems.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally for on-site installations, training, and support.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams.</li><li>Experience developing and delivering training programs and creating clear documentation.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management abilities with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.</li><li>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Why Join GFL?At GFL, we’re building more than just a company—we’re building a community.
