What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Data Support Associate to join the Tariff Data team. The team maintains a comprehensive database of national and international utility rate data, a core piece of Arcadia’s platform. In this role you will be primarily responsible for making sure the tariff data is accurate and up-to-date. You will resolve data issues sent by customers and work through quality assurance processes on a daily basis. You will collaborate frequently with other teams to improve processes and internal tools. The Data Support Associate will report to the Director of Data Operations.

The daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Quality Assurance
    • Review daily reports related to rate and cost changes.
    • Review data and calculations using our tools and services
    • Customer Bill Matching using our rate calculator
    • Manage data audits 
  • Data Coverage and subject expertise
    • Track tariff document changes on the utility websites.
    • Evolve in to  a subject matter expert for our utility data, rate model and internal tools
    • Collaborate with the support and development teams on opportunities for process improvements.
  • Customer Support
    • Investigate and resolve customer questions related to tariff data
    • Prioritize and coordinate customer data requests with our entry team

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • Patience, a sharp analytical mind and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for digging into equations and calculations. 
  • Enthusiastic learner and a desire to be a subject matter expert. 
  • Great communication skills - distill complex information to customers and team members.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in clean energy/solar power is not required but is a big plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and SQL is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices or experience managing multiple datasets.
