Your technical know-how, innovation and managements skills are key to designing cutting edge products in a fast-paced environment. You will work with other leaders to  define and execute our roadmap. This position requires system thinking and strong planning and integration skills of a complex first of its kind system as well as the experience of managing a team of experts from concept through implementation and integration with hardware and RF components.</span></div><br><br><h3>Key Position Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead a team (12) of firmware and software engineers to deliver products from concept to mass production.</li><li>Manage priorities and allocate resources in a complex environment of mixed feature and concept explorations and product implementation.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and contribute to project planning for your team.</li><li>Lead, collaborate and contribute to new concept development. Partner with Product and  architects to contribute to innovation and roadmap development.</li><li>Set coding and documentation standards. </li><li>Supervise implementation and integration. Set quality targets.</li><li>Drive and manage the development of tools and procedures to support product manufacturing. </li><li>Collaborate with hardware and RF, teams to meet product specifications.</li><li>Develop documentation and processes to ensure high product quality in conjunction with an effective development process.</li><li>Lead the development of system test plans.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Computer Science or Embedded Systems Degree (Masters preferred).</li><li>7–10-year experience in Embedded firmware and / or Fullstack development.</li><li>5–10-year experience in management of code development for hardware products.</li><li>A system thinker that can define a guide a platform definition and design.</li><li>Work experience with the design process (Agile and Waterfall) from concept through board development and system integration for volume production.</li><li>Hands-on experience with bring up and troubleshooting of boards and systems.</li><li>Design experience integrating RF, MCU interfaces, and communication systems.</li><li>Strong experience in development with ARM and other RTOS or baremetal MCUs.</li><li>Experience   is   developing,   managing   and   testing   some   or   all   of   the   following: Bluetooth,   BLE,   Wi-Fi,   power   management,   I2C,   SPI,   JTAG,   UART,   USB,   battery charging, networking, cloud applications.</li><li>Work experience is design and implementation of security for hardware products.</li><li>Ability to work cross‐functionally.</li><li>Strong proven interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Results and deadline driven.</li><li>Able to work independently with little direction and multi‐task.</li><li>Takes great pride and ownership in developing products.</li></ul><h3>Nice-To-Haves</h3><ul><li>Experience working with RF engineers.</li><li>Experience managing ML engineers.</li></ul><br><div><b>Reach - Who We Are</b></div><div><br></div><div>Reach is a pioneer in a new frontier of technology.
