Come build the future with us and apply directly to your dream job!POSITION SUMMARY:Join our Aftermarket team in Skelmersdale as a Warehouse Operative, where you’ll be responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, as well as handling warranty returns and service exchanges. You’ll bring great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a can-do approach to problem-solving, thriving in a busy environment. Awareness of Health &amp; Safety, ability to lift heavy objects, and experience in a similar role are desirable. MHE licenses and WMS knowledge would be a bonus, but training can be provided. If you're ready to develop your career, apply now!WHAT YOU WILL DO:<ul> <li>This is a fully functional warehouse operative role, covering all warehouse duties including Receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods, warranty returns and service exchange.</li> <li>You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and dispatching parts to meet our internal and external customer requirements and wider business needs.</li> <li>Operate specialty equipment such as fork-lift trucks, Scissor Lifts, reach trucks etc.</li> <li>Ensure that the right parts are picked and packed to the agreed performance levels.</li> <li>Responsible for taking the delivery of goods and supplies.</li> <li>Safely store, pick, and dispatch stock using manual or mechanical manoeuvre, including moving stock around by hand or with MHE.</li> <li>Keep paperwork up-to-date and maintain accurate records of stock, highlighting any discrepancies that may have occurred.</li> <li>Participate in maintaining an agreed housekeeping standard with the use of the 5S principle.</li> <li>Comply with all Health and Safety legislation.</li> <li>Continually strive to spot opportunities for process improvement to ensure the highest level of efficiency.</li> <li>Learn from the best. All of this will give you the right skills and experience to develop your career further.</li> </ul>WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:<ul><ul> <li>An awareness of Health &amp; Safety Legislation and individual/company requirements.</li> <li>A determination to be the best at whatever task you undertake.</li> <li>Ability to lift heavy objects</li> <li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li> <li>Great attention to detail.</li> <li>A positive attitude and a can-do approach to problem solving.</li> <li>Work well within a team and on your own.</li> <li>Experience of working as a Warehouse Operative within a similar environment.</li> <li>Things can be hectic here. You will thrive on being busy and be an expert multi-tasker.</li> <li>Generally, someone who’s approachable with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.</li> <li>Strive for continuous improvement – always looking for ways to do things better.</li> <li>NVQ or equivalent in Warehouse or Operations would be desirable but not essential.</li> <li>Full UK Drivers Licence, FLT, HLOP and Scissor lift Licences are desirable but not essential. If no MHE licenses.
