AECOM is seeking a Quality Engineer to be based in Sacramento, CA.JOB SUMMARY The Quality Engineer (QE) is responsible for supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of the client’s Quality Management System (QMS). This position requires working in the client’s Sacramento office as well as travel to other offices in the Central Valley.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Develop and maintain quality process and procedures relating to the client’s QMS. This includes creation of quality-related documentation, revising current documents, and performing technical editing as the final quality control reviewer for documentation</li><li>Create annual quality audit plans based on inputs from the client and support both internal and external quality audits following client procedures and best practices from ISO 19011 guidelines</li><li>Monitor and support the issuance, resolution, and closure of open nonconformances and corrective actions</li><li>Maintain and improve the client’s nonconformance and corrective action tracking system in SharePoint</li><li>Support process improvement activities utilizing Lean, Six-Sigma, and other quality improvement tools</li><li>Support the client’s quality-related risk identification and mitigation activities.</li><li>Review regulatory and legal changes that affect the client’s QMS and support necessary revisions to the client s QMS procedures and processes</li><li>Support the development and continuous improvement of quality-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)</li><li>Develop, update, and maintain a lessons learned program</li><li>Provide ongoing evaluations and recommendations concerning deficiencies/strengths, and potential internal and external risks to the client</li><li>Provide quality representation to ongoing handover activities</li><li>Provide additional support as requested by the client</li></ul>
