IPEX is one of the North American leading providers of advanced plastic piping systems.Our mission is to shape a better tomorrow by connecting people with water and energy.We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Sales Representative for our Mechanical Sales Team in Ontario.  The sales territory covers Kitchener-Waterloo / Guelph Region to Owen Sound, and west to Windsor.  This role will be based out of the IPEX Invader Crescent Mississauga Sales Office, with the successful candidate living within the territory and working remotely.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will manage the sales activity for Mechanical Customers (Plumbing / HVAC / Industrial) in SW Ontario, from KW / Guelph to Owen Sound to Windsor.  This will include calling on IPEX distributors, mechanical / HVAC / industrial contractors, specifying engineers, developers, and inspectors Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Become a trusted advisor to all industry stakeholders by offering technical and overall market expertise.</li><li>Develop long term relationships with distributors, contractors, &amp; engineers and secure their commitment to our products.</li><li>Protect existing IPEX market as well as grow share by converting contractors &amp; engineers from traditional metal piping systems to IPEX Mechanical Systems.</li><li>Promote IPEX products at industry trade shows, distributor training sessions, engineer lunch &amp; learns, and contractor installation trainings.</li><li>Investigate and follow up on sales leads and potential new markets.</li><li>Collaborate with and support IPEX sales colleagues to achieve Team objectives.</li><li>Work closely with IPEX Customer Service, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management.</li><li>Track sales activity in CRM, provide monthly market reports, and contribute to forecasting &amp; market share exercises.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>University degree or College Diploma is an asset.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in sales and customer facing activities.</li><li>Construction Industry experience is an asset.</li><li>Proven excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>The ability to work independently with strong self-motivation skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel overnight 20% of the time.</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
