This role will focus on conducting denied and restricted party screening and supporting due diligence reviews critical to identifying and assessing third-party risks and ensuring compliance with evolving international trade, sanctions, and anti-corruption regulations.Location: Budapest / Törökbálint, Hungary or Montecchio (Italy) or Lainate (Italy)Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct daily screening of third-party customers, suppliers, and other partners against denied, restricted, and sanctioned party lists using provided web-based screening services and other resources as necessary.</li><li>Perform risk-based due diligence reviews on high-risk third parties, including background checks, ownership structure assessments, and reputational risk analysis.</li><li>Use third-party compliance tools and databases (e.g., Descartes, LexisNexis, World-Check, Dow Jones Risk &amp; Compliance) to screen and monitor external parties.</li><li>Evaluate and escalate potential matches or red flags identified during screening or due diligence processes.</li><li>Document findings, assessments, and decisions to maintain clear audit trails and ensure transparency.</li><li>Support onboarding of new third parties by completing required compliance checks prior to engagement.</li><li>Liaise with Procurement, Sales, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure compliance requirements are met.</li><li>Stay current on regulatory developments related to sanctions, export controls, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering.</li><li>Assist in reviewing and updating internal procedures, workflows, and policies related to screening and due diligence.</li><li>Participate in internal audits, investigations, and compliance risk assessments as needed.</li><li>Support broader compliance initiatives such as training, awareness, and automation projects.</li></ul>Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:<ul><li>Whether you have a degree in logistics, business administration, engineering or law or a comparable qualification - the decisive factor for us is your relevant professional experience in the field of screening and due diligence - ideally at least 2 years in a multinational or regulated industry.</li><li>Familiarity with global sanctions regimes (e.g., UN, OFAC, BIS, EU, UK, CH) and anti-corruption laws (e.g., US-FCPA, UK Bribery Act).  Experience with antiboycott regulations, AML and compliance requirements is a plus.</li><li>Experience conducting due diligence reviews or working with compliance screening platforms.</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</li><li>Travel around 15%</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Knowledge of global trade management platforms (e.g., SAP GTS, Screening Tools and Platforms such as Thompson Reuters, E2Open, OCR, MK Denial, etc.).</li><li>Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.</li></ul>We Offer You More Than Just “A Job”<ul><li>Professional Development – To advance the capabilities of our people, we offer a wide variety of experiences to support our employees’ professional growth and continuous learning.</li><li>Total Rewards – We offer comprehensive programs for compensation, benefits, recognition, learning and development, work-life integration and corporate citizenship.</li><li>Watermark – Watermark is our corporate social responsibility program working to provide education and access to safe water to ensure healthy lives, gender equality, and resilient communities.
