This role will also involve close collaboration with contract manufacturers, ensuring that all production processes meet quality specifications, and addressing any issues that arise during the manufacturing phase. The successful candidate will help drive continuous improvements in product quality and manufacturing efficiency, ensuring seamless integration between internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities Will Include: <ul><li>Develop and implement in-line quality control plans, incoming inspection criteria, and outgoing validation protocols at contract manufacturing sites</li></ul><ul><li>Lead root cause analysis and implement containment, corrective, and preventative actions for field returns, yield issues, and customer complaints</li></ul><ul><li>Build dashboards to track KPIs including DPPM, RMA rates, test yield, and audit performance</li></ul><ul><li>Drive process capability improvements through SPC, GR&amp;R studies, and statistical analysis</li></ul><ul><li>Define product-level test plans and collaborate with test engineering to ensure robust coverage of functional and safety requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and provide quality input during design reviews and manufacturing process changes</li></ul><ul><li>Support audits (internal, supplier, third-party), regulatory compliance, and documentation per ISO9001, UL, or other applicable standards</li></ul>Desired Qualifications: <ul><li>B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering</li></ul><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a hardware manufacturing quality role, ideally with PCBA and HV experience</li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency with 8D, PFMEA, control plans, and ISO standards</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with MES systems, quality inspection tools, and data analytics (JMP, Minitab, SQL, or Python)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and communication skills</li></ul>Physical Requirements:  <ul><li>Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards </li></ul>Working Conditions:  <ul><li>Environment, such as office or outdoors</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time</li></ul><ul><li>Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing</li></ul><ul><li>Occasional work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job</li></ul><ul><li>Occasional travel requirements</li></ul><div><div><div>In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below.
