You will also handle operational tasks like implementing tickets and operating firewalls.</li> <li>Troubleshooting: Skillfully troubleshoot both wireless and wired network environments to ensure reliable connectivity.</li> <li>Optimization: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize network design and enhance operational efficiency.</li> <li>Process Leadership: Take the lead in developing and refining network processes and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.</li> </ul><h3>What tech stack will you be working with?</h3><ul> <li>Routing &amp; Switching: Enterprise-level routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network operating systems (e.g., JUNOS, Cisco IOS).</li> <li>Firewalls: Next-generation firewalls, with a primary focus on Palo Alto.</li> <li>VPN Technologies: Various VPNs to ensure secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.</li> <li>Network Tools: Network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools like SolarWinds.</li> <li>Scripting Languages: Python or Perl for scripting and automation.</li> <li>Public Cloud: Networking technologies from public cloud providers (e.g., AWS Transit Gateways, Azure WAF).</li> <li>SASE Architecture: Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions, primarily Palo Alto Prisma Access.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>CCNP or equivalent knowledge with 5+ years of experience in routing and switching within an enterprise or service provider environment.</li> <li>Proven experience with firewalls, with strong expertise in Palo Alto technology being highly advantageous.</li> <li>An in-depth understanding of communication protocols, especially TCP/IP, and routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.</li> <li>Familiarity with access control models and robust network security practices.</li> <li>Knowledge of a coding language for scripting, such as Python or Perl.</li> <li>Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.</li> <li>A solid understanding of network device operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).</li> <li>Demonstrable understanding of network design best practices.</li> </ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)</h3><ul> <li>Experience with SASE architecture, particularly Palo Alto Prisma Access.</li> <li>Experience in scoping and planning network infrastructure implementations and migrations.</li> <li>Experience with networking in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).</li> <li>Broader experience with IT infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience with wireless network technologies.</li> </ul><p></p><p>Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl.
