This temporary role will support ongoing site projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades. The ideal candidate is experienced in collaborating with engineers and vendors, has a strong background in fabrication, and is committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. </p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Assist with new equipment installations, including setup, mechanical/electrical connections, and system integration. </li></ul><ul> <li>Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and external contractors on facility improvement projects. </li></ul><ul> <li>Perform fabrication work (e.g., basic welding, cutting, custom fixture assembly) as part of facility modifications. </li></ul><ul> <li>Maintain and troubleshoot building systems and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, etc.). </li></ul><ul> <li>Conduct routine inspections and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. </li></ul><ul> <li>Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and site safety protocols. </li></ul><ul> <li>Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance tasks, installations, and safety checks. </li></ul><ul> <li>Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and safety. </li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent technical role. </li></ul><ul> <li>Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, workplace safety practices, and industrial protocols. </li></ul><ul> <li>Experience working in manufacturing, lab, or cleanroom environments is preferred. </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficient in using tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment. </li></ul><ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. </li></ul><ul> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. </li></ul><ul> <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills. </li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, welding, electrical) a plus. </li></ul><ul> <li>Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Smartsheet or similar platforms.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The target base pay for this position is $27-$36/hr.
