AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer to be based out of Long Island, NY, Rocky Hill, CT or Piscataway, NJ. The successful candidate will have a background in environmental engineering and a successful work history in environmental investigations and environmental site remediation of chemical contaminated sites.Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:<ul><li>Provides project and task support, including data analysis, report writing, assisting with cost estimating, remedial plan preparation, and design support.</li><li>Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.</li><li>Serves as task lead for environmental projects working under the supervision of a Project Manager or Project Engineer and coordinates efforts of support staff.</li><li>Provides guidance to entry level engineers.</li><li>Works with a team to develop proposed approaches to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods previously developed.</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations.</li><li>Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.</li><li>Qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel and field work support.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
