The ideal candidate will bring leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills, while also mentoring junior technicians and ensuring top-quality workmanship.<hr><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV systems, and refrigeration equipment.</li><li>Lead and oversee complex installations, retrofits, and commissioning of HVAC systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations and recommendations.</li><li>Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure successful project execution.</li></ul><hr><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HVAC service, installation, and repair (commercial and/or residential).</li><li>Education/Certification:<ul><li>EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)</li><li>NATE Certification (preferred)</li><li>State HVAC license or equivalent (as required)</li></ul></li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical HVAC components.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Proficient in using diagnostic tools, meters, and modern HVAC software.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills.</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li></ul><hr><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.</li><li>Work in varying conditions, including confined spaces, rooftops, and all weather environments.</li><li>Stand, crawl, kneel, climb ladders, and bend for extended periods.</li></ul><hr><h3>Compensation:</h3><ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li></ul> </div>
