You will act as the link between customers and technical teams, providing tailored solutions that improve performance, strengthen efficiency, and create long-term partnerships.The role reports to the Director of Service and involves a mix of office-based and on-site customer engagement.Business Development &amp; Sales Growth<ul><li>Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.</li><li>Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with GEA’s growth strategy.</li><li>Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape sales initiatives.</li></ul>Client Engagement &amp; Solutions<ul><li>Develop expertise in GEA’s service portfolio (process optimisation, automation, spare parts, service contracts).</li><li>Work closely with clients to understand challenges and deliver tailored engineering solutions.</li><li>Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and present technical solutions effectively.</li></ul>Sales Strategy &amp; Performance<ul><li>Manage the full sales cycle from strategy to deal closure.</li><li>Deliver against sales budgets and maintain margin growth.</li><li>Use CRM/ERP tools (SAP) to manage sales activities and reporting.</li><li>Drive improvements in sales processes and performance.</li></ul>Account Management &amp; After-Sales Support<ul><li>Build strong, lasting customer relationships and support retention.</li><li>Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution by working closely with technical teams.</li><li>Provide after-sales support, ensuring high customer satisfaction.</li></ul>Strategic Contribution &amp; Innovation<ul><li>Support GEA’s mission of sustainable growth by contributing to planning and strategy.</li><li>Embrace digital tools and innovative approaches to reach new customers.</li><li>Collaborate with global teams to align local business development with international goals.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales (ideally in capital equipment, consultancy, Food &amp; Beverage / Process Engineering).</li><li>Strong knowledge of engineering services (service contracts, spare parts, optimisation, automation).</li><li>Skilled in sales strategy, account management, and negotiation.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP (SAP) experience is a strong plus.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills across different cultures.</li><li>Resilient, proactive, and strategic thinker with focus on innovation and long-term growth.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
