In addition, we have recently been through a major IT reorg that has led to the creation of the Transformer BST or Business Solution Team, that is tasked with supporting the Transformer business with its IT needs.This is a Manager role that will lead a global team in the delivery and support of the Transformer specific applications supporting Finance, Supply Chain and Operations. For the applications in the portfolio the Service Delivery Manager is responsible for:<ul><li>Lead multinational teams to deliver the IT services for the Transformer Finance, Supply Chain and Operations portfolio.</li><li>Be responsible for the HR management of the teams and budgets in the department, ensure it is properly organized and staffed with the appropriate skill sets.</li><li>Manage all vendor contracts and deliverables required to support the portfolio; plan and manage the annual budget process for the portfolio and develop a multi-year strategic road map.</li><li>Develop a governance process with the business team to manage the backlog of change requests in the portfolio and implement and validate any changes in conformance with Hitachi guidelines.</li><li>Ensure the development and maintenance of the training material to make sure it is up to date and accurate.</li><li>Oversee specific Transformer-related report development by managing the user requirements and working with the various development teams to ensure timely delivery of new and updated reports.</li><li>Work with the business to define, plan and execute any new projects in the portfolio.</li><li>Support the business in defining end-to-end process excellence and efficiencies, particularly regarding the data flows across systems.</li><li>Work with the support teams on building the required integrations and automations to improve, enhance and simplify business processes.</li></ul>How you’ll make an impact <ul><li>Team recruiting and management</li><li>Implement and run governance processes</li><li>Oversee execution of all projects in the porfolio</li><li>Manage vendors and contracts to ensure best value delivery of services</li><li>Plan budget and track actuals and forecasts per Finance requirements</li><li>Schedule and facilitate application governance meetings such as CAB meetings, monthly updates, weekly team meetings and other ad hoc meetings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy Project Management processes</li></ul>Your background<ul><li>Strong IT project management skills.</li><li>Experience in building IT integrations</li><li>Knowledge of finance, budgeting and financial reporting.</li><li>SAP FI/CO experience</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with business users as well as technical teams.</li><li>Ability to create and update application and project documentation in English</li><li>Knowledge of HE IT Project governance process.</li></ul>More about us We pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefit programs to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
