Our Global Fleet Management department oversees the life cycle of all company-managed vehicles/equipment or leased, owned, and rental vehicles/equipment. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated <strong>Fleet Manager</strong> who will collaborate with several business stakeholders for the management of Fleet Services and Compliance. This role will report to Lucid’s Director of Global Fleet Management and will manage all the aspects of Lucid’s Internal Fleet vehicles for Service Department internal stakeholders, and oversight of 3rd Party Fleet Services and Fleet/Driver Compliance to support our Fleet efforts.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a high level of knowledge of the company’s mission and goals and act as a liaison between the Global Fleet Management department and the Service team.</li><li>Develop and support vehicle allocation and operations plan for all Service Loaners and Mobile Service assets.</li><li>Create and own a strategic vehicle allocation plan for all Service vehicles, coordinating with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Implement a life-cycle for Service vehicles, including the in-fleeting of new vehicles and the de-fleeting process.</li><li>Maintain an accurate inventory of all Service Internal Fleet throughout the various stages of its life-cycle.</li><li>Oversee all in-fleeting activities, including timely new vehicle acceptance, PDI, tag installation, and other proprietary items that prepare the vehicle for field use.</li><li>Manage all de-fleeting activities, including timely inspection, reconditioning, plate removal, and vehicle movement, to support the sellable inventory strategy.</li><li>Direct the creation of work orders that define the work scope for preparing vehicles and ensuring they meet the quality standards of the Service team.</li><li>Plan, direct, and monitor preventive maintenance, body repair, software updates, and other work for all internal vehicles.</li><li>Develop and implement a quality assessment program for all Service vehicles prior to public use.</li><li>Manage all Service vehicles, tracking allocation, preparation, assignment, usage, maintenance, and reporting.</li><li>Liaison with the Service teams for all vehicle tracking allocation, preparation, usage, and maintenance.</li><li>Manage vehicle maintenance and transportation with 3rd Party Vendors in key markets.</li><li>Manage external 3rd Party Vendors for regional Service fleet vehicle operations and storage.</li><li>Oversee the maintenance, licensing, regulatory vehicle compliance, and vehicle health.</li><li>Support the Service teams by frequently traveling to different locations to manage the fleet, troubleshoot, and rework Internal Fleet vehicles if necessary.</li><li>Monitor and analyze vehicle allocation and usage.</li><li>Develop and implement a mileage log and all internal service records.</li><li>Work closely with the Global Fleet Technology, Data &amp; Finance team to create tools and processes needed to support tracking company-owned vehicles.</li><li>Develop and own periodic inventory audit processes.</li><li>Provide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner.</li><li>Collaborate with peers to balance daily workloads and support the business.</li><li>Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively formulate effective action plans to deal with issues.</li><li>Flexible and able to work under pressure to balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills.
