Title: Asset Manager  The Asset Manager is responsible for leading the operations and management of various project assets that are owned and operated by East Point. This role will assist in the implementation of the company’s business strategy in the space of asset management and operations, while also ensuring the successful delivery of operational projects. This role reports directly to the Director of Asset Management and works with the EPC, Project Development, Business Development, Operations, and Finance teams. Scope may eventually expand to include other renewable energy technologies.    Roles &amp; Responsibilities:  <ul><li>Oversee safety, environmental, quality, and performance at operating facilities </li><li>Manage the operations process, planning, control, and performance improvement </li><li>Lead and attend on-site project meetings </li><li>Lead and attend regular project meetings with contractors, integrators, and any other project stakeholders  </li><li>Execute the asset management strategy primarily focused on standalone energy storage projects </li><li>Present business cases for asset management opportunities, providing a solid understanding of overall risks, benefits, and returns </li><li>Evaluate, negotiate, award, and manage O&amp;M services contracts  </li><li>Manage warranty contracts with EPCs/OEMs </li><li>Ensure the smooth transition and receiving of projects from the EPC team  </li><li>Forecast and manage OPEX budget corresponding to the projects under management </li><li>Report Key Performance Indicators of assets </li><li>Participate in software selection to manage the projects, and in its implementation </li><li>Analyze, track, and explain evolution of power markets, and of electrical services for such markets </li><li>Implement NERC Compliance procedures, as applicable, for the projects </li><li>Collaborate on power trading strategies and operational plans </li><li>Implement electricity trading opportunities in behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter applications </li><li>Build dashboards and systems to analyze data for optimization of performance of assets </li><li>Cooperate with electrical utilities to optimize the dispatch of energy storage </li><li>Maintain strong networks with energy industry representatives and key stakeholders </li><li>Partner with the EPC team to evaluate emerging storage technologies, including identification of risks associated with integration and operation within the East Point fleet of renewable energy assets </li><li>Feedback to project development and EPC on Lessons Learned </li><li>Support company strategy and execution beyond Asset Management  </li><li>Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned  </li></ul>  Skills: <ul><li>Asset management experience (safety, environmental health, quality, technical specifications, scope, budgets, schedule, change orders, stakeholder management, etc.) </li><li>Analyze, synthesize, and prioritize information accurately and effectively; multi-task </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication; able to communicate to audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding </li><li>Contractor management and presentation skills </li><li>Experience building, leading, and managing data systems </li><li>Data analytics specific to grid-scale lithium-ion battery projects </li><li>Knowledge of energy storage technology offerings and suppliers, including inverters and transformers </li><li>Knowledge of power market concepts </li><li>Quick learner, able to understand a broad range of topics in the electrical markets: from devices, to markets, and from cables to data </li><li>Telemetry and SCADA systems </li><li>Ability to negotiate and manage vendor and contractor contracts </li><li>Ability to manage project and portfolio financials </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.) </li><li>Experience using Salesforce a plus </li><li>Able to walk over undeveloped land unassisted, travel unassisted, and sit at a computer for long periods of time </li><li>Safe driving record, valid driver’s license  </li></ul>  Characteristics of an ideal candidate: <ul><li>Passion for energy development and the environment </li><li>Creative problem-solving ability and solutions-oriented mindset </li><li>Technical curiosity, and ability to learn different domains (software, hardware, electronics including telecommunications, electrical, cooling &amp; heating) </li><li>Data proficient, able to deep-dive in data to come to technical conclusions </li><li>Self-starter with a desire to succeed and a focus on creating value </li><li>Team player, proactive attitude </li><li>Organized, attention to detail </li><li>Comfortable with a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment </li><li>Ability to make informed decisions quickly and a bias for action </li><li>Integrity and accountability  </li></ul>  Education &amp; Experience: <ul><li>4-year university degree, BS or BA; preferably in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, Business, or related field  </li><li>3+ years of experience in asset management, specific to energy generation projects.
