Let´s change the world together!</p><p>On-site position, working part-time</p><h2>Tasks</h2><ul><li>Support upstream (fermentations) processing activities.</li><li>Work with lab-scale bioreactors.</li><li>Design and execution of experiments for improvement of processing steps using Design of Experiments (DOE).</li><li>Perform and develop analytical analysis by colorimetric, HPLC, and enzymatic methods.</li><li>Data analysis, visualization, and reporting of experimental results.</li><li>Understanding of enzymatic kinetics, experience with enzymatic reactions and assays is a plus</li><li>Participate in overall lab management activities such as lab cleaning, and preparing SOPs.</li><li>Follow the SOPs in place and suggest continuous improvements.</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Bioprocess Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical or Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.</li><li>Experience with working with bioreactor fermentations is strongly preferred</li><li>Experience working in a laboratory.</li><li>Analytical and creative thinking</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team</li><li>Time management and organizational skills</li><li>Ownership and accountability mindset</li><li>You are passionate about sustainability and improving our food system</li><li>You are fluent in English (spoken and written)</li></ul><p>​​​​​​ <em>At</em> MicroHarvest_, we value diversity and as such we do not discriminate based on race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class protected by applicable laws._ MicroHarvest <em>respectfully encourages people from all backgrounds and under-represented groups to apply for this position.</em></p>
