Our team is building a dynamic network to meet the changing demands for electricity and increasingly, renewable electricity – safely, securely and sustainably in the communities we serve.At SP Energy Networks, we know people are central to building a better future, quicker and we are seeking new talent to join our team.What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Work closely with the Community Benefits team to deliver the company’s Community Benefits framework; worth over £100m over the next five years</li><li>Assist key business leads to identify and build relationships with stakeholders.</li><li>Responsible for development and implementation of robust processes to embed Community Benefits framework into the business.</li><li>To bring consistency of approach across business areas in respect of community engagement.</li><li>Managing data and reporting, which ensure impact can be measured.</li><li>Responsibility for stakeholder communications, including newsletters, e-bulletins and relevant webpages relating to Community Benefits, improving perceptions of the company amongst key stakeholder groups.</li><li>Support development and delivery of public information campaigns, which improve recognition, understanding and reputation of the company and understanding of Community Benefits.</li><li>Manage own workload to update key stakeholder documents, including database and engagement plans, which are annually assured.</li><li>Manage own workload to prepare professionally designed presentations to be used across organisation, within specified branding guidelines, as required.</li><li>Sit on and lead the relevant internal working groups for area.</li><li>Negotiate with external market research, creative and comms team to devise plans for new work and to monitor delivery against business requirements.</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul><li>Strong background in marketing and communications, ideally degree qualified.</li><li>Deep understanding of the UK utilities market</li><li>Skilled in stakeholder mapping and two-way communication strategies.</li><li>Creative and strategic thinker with experience in regulated industries.</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, numerical, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>High customer focus, motivation, and team collaboration.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT tools.</li><li>Strong influencing, negotiation, and evaluation capabilities</li></ul>As a minimum, you will demonstrate:<ul><li>Proven experience in marketing or communications, ideally within a regulated industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of the UK utilities market and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).</li></ul>What’s in it for you As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
