You will create drawings with inputs from responsible engineers, serve as a GD&amp;T expert for the team when checking drawings, and manage models/assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity to enable mechanical, fluids, nuclear, and structural engineers in building a highly reliable, portable nuclear microreactor. The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail, excellent CAD abilities, and can juggle multiple competing priorities. Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Create, review, and finalize 2D engineering drawings in NX for subsystems and components for a nuclear microreactor.</li><li>Manage large assemblies or assist with complex 3D model creation.</li><li>Work closely with engineers to resolve issues and document changes including requirements, process updates, assembly modifications, and more.</li><li>Create and update templates and drawing notes to stay up to date.</li><li>Manage queue of revision requests and prioritize with team to identify and solve design-related issues.  </li></ul>Required Skills and Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering.</li><li>1+ years working experience with drafting, modeling, and managing assemblies in CAD software.</li><li>1+ years' experience in NX for CAD modeling and engineering drawings. </li><li>Experience with Teamcenter.</li><li>Proficient in GD&amp;T concepts and application. </li></ul>Desired Skills and Qualifications: <ul><li>Familiarity with metallic structures, welded structures, and fluid systems.</li><li>Experience designing and managing large CAD models and drawings.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple drawings and models at a time effectively and with accuracy.</li><li>Strong ability to communicate well and frequently with interdisciplinary engineers across engineering and leadership.</li><li>Proactive and self-motivated with excellent ability to document processes and drawings and ensure up-to-date notes. </li></ul> Additional Requirements<ul><li>Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.</li><li>Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.</li></ul> <div>Total Compensation and BenefitsRadiant's new hire compensation package includes base salary, substantial equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
