We seek a highly motivated and experienced Fertilizer Production Technician. Job SummaryAs a Fertilizer Production Technician, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment that produces agricultural fertilizers. This role demands strong technical skills and a commitment to following all safety protocols to ensure efficient, effective, and safe production processes. This is a rotating 12-hour day-shift position covering 7 days per week. Night work is not typically expected, but may occasionally be required depending on production needs. Flexibility and teamwork are key as we scale operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Operating, cleaning, and maintaining reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers used in fertilizer production in a safe and environmentally responsible manner</li><li>Monitoring and adjusting reactor parameters and equipment settings to ensure smooth and efficient operations</li><li>Performing water chemistry analysis and adjusting chemical feed(s) accordingly</li><li>Performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on plant systems</li><li>Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime</li><li>Conducting basic product tests and inspections to ensure quality standards</li><li>Keeping accurate records of production, maintenance, and safety checks</li><li>Collaborating with engineers and R&amp;D teams to improve processes and develop new products</li><li>Following safety protocols and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe workplace</li><li>The position is on-site in Delhi, California</li><li>Work is for the day shift 6:00 - 18:00</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Associate degree or higher, or a minimum of 5 years of technical training in engineering, physics, mechanics, electrical systems, or a related field</li><li>Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, or industrial equipment</li><li>Comfortable working with high-pressure systems</li><li>Comfortable completing electrical calibrations</li><li>Ability to wear a respirator and lift heavy equipment when needed</li><li>Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Team-oriented with good communication skills</li><li>Willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>$35-40/hr</li><li>3 weeks of paid vacation</li><li>7 company holidays and 4 floating holidays</li><li>Medical and Dental insurance</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>401k plan with matching</li><li>Commuter Benefits</li></ul>
