Join our outstanding team and help shape the future of energy. Position Specific DescriptionThe employee in this role is a member of the Florida Power and Light’s Regulatory Affairs team, working on the regulatory analysis and resolution of consumer issues and policy matters. This position communicates and collaborates with both external and internal stakeholders, including the Florida Public Service Commission staff and FPL Customer Service and Power Delivery teams on issues involving a variety of regulatory concepts, practices and procedures. Key responsibilities include: <ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Oversees tracking of consumer complaints and resolutions involving Florida Public Service Commission, Office of Public Counsel, Attorney General and other agencies</li><li>Reviews and provides feedback on company responses to consumer issues (e.g. elevated complaints)</li><li>Serves as a liaison with the Florida Public Service Commission Consumer Affairs staff</li><li>Identifies issues and trends in consumer issues for management review</li><li>Supports logistics for regulatory proceedings as needed</li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned</li></ul> We are actively seeking candidates who possess:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding a variety of issues</li><li>Excellent writing and research skills</li><li>Strong dedication to customer service</li><li>Ability and desire to grasp new topics and learn new processes quickly</li><li>Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and maintain high performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – commitment to meeting deadlines is essential</li><li>Degree and/or related experience in regulated industries and policy matters</li></ul> We strive to achieve excellence in all products and services we provide.
