Team lead performs role safely and can wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator. Responsibilities<ul><li>Sets-up and operates all machinery/equipment with superior efficiency</li><li>Monitors controls and gauges to assure proper functions</li><li>Able to efficiently make change overs to equipment as schedule requires.</li><li>Make appropriate parameter adjustments as needed to ensure batteries meet all specifications</li><li>Performs visual/physical inspections and tests for quality and quantity. Analyzes and diagnoses equipment malfunctions. </li><li>Distributes department work orders (production, shipping, etc.)</li><li>Assist other team members as needed to maximize production</li><li>Conducts and coordinates the training of new employees</li><li>Completes daily standard production reports</li><li>Ensures safety supplies and personal protective equipment are used appropriately</li><li>Identifies unsatisfactory employee performance, verbally notifies employees of procedure violations or behavior problems and informs Supervisor of performance events</li><li>Communicate various company policies and procedures to employees</li><li>May give verbal input regarding employee performance during employee review process</li><li>Follow and maintain Lean activities (5S, housekeeping, hygiene, etc)</li><li>Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE.</li><li>Understand &amp; practice the Quality policy  </li><li>Comply with Blood Lead Health and Hygiene Protocols</li><li>Other duties maybe assigned </li></ul>Basic Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Forklift driver certification</li><li>Must have training certification for each area of responsibility</li><li>Read, write and speak English</li><li>Good writing and communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft software products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and any department specific computer programs       </li></ul>This position is for the 2nd shift.Salary Range: $20.00-$21.00/hrOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and locationif you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
