This individual will be responsible for producing compelling creative for all aspects of design projects from concept to completion. These projects may include but are not limited to digital assets, brochures, photos, presentation decks, advertisements, and videos – bringing our groundbreaking work to life for audiences ranging from policymakers to the general public. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable at a design desk, behind a camera, or writing copy that resonates. Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Create compelling graphics, infographics, layouts, designs, print, and digital media. </li><li>Draft engaging captions, headlines, and narratives tailored to each channel and audience. </li><li>Conceptualize, shoot, and edit photo and multimedia content for social platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). </li><li>Capture the unique culture of Radiant through both polished designs and guerrilla-style content (e.g., behind-the-scenes videos from engineers, rapid-response posts during key milestones). </li><li>Track performance and stay current with creative best practices. </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>2-5+ years of experience in a graphics design position (bonus points for added experience in content or social content role). </li><li>Proven graphic design experience (portfolio of graphic design, photo, and video work required). </li><li>Proficiency in basic graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator), video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent), and other creative tools. </li><li>Strong copywriting skills with the ability to shift tone from technical to accessible. </li><li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. </li><li>A passion for science, technology, and storytelling.
