The Instrumentation &amp; Electrical (I&amp;E) Technician will support work through a combination of sustaining activities and engineering projects, including new product development. Under supervision, the I&amp;E Technician performs a variety of engineering work in planning, installing, monitoring, and maintaining control systems and machinery.<ul> <li>Perform and document maintenance, calibration, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems</li> <li>Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation i.e., transmitters, analyzers, control valves, switches, relays, etc.</li> <li>Inspect, repair, replace transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and electrical systems</li> <li>Work with a wide variety of instruments including, ultrasonic, guided wave radar, mass flow, pressure transducers, RTDs, etc.</li> <li>Understand piping and instrument diagrams, signal flow diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, one-line drawings, loop sheets, and wire lists</li> <li>Perform all duties in a manner consistent with environmental, health and safety policies</li> <li>Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns</li> <li>Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns</li> <li>Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems including low voltage 24VDC to 480VAC</li> <li>Work from instrument drawings and P&amp;ID’s, identify end devices and components</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li> <li>Five plus years of experience in instrumentation of equipment required</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in the design, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment required</li> <li>Working knowledge of PLC, HMI and automated equipment &amp; standard instrumentation types (4-20 mA, 0-5 V, pulse, MODBUS) required</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret P&amp;IDs, electrical schematics and one-line diagrams required</li> <li>Ability to work independently, as well as with cross-functional teams of electrical technicians, mechanics, welders, operations personnel, engineers, and safety professionals required</li> <li> Journey man electrician certification is preferred</li> <li>Natural gas industry experience is preferred</li> </ul>Hands-on experience with the following equipment required: <ul> <li>Control/Automated Valves </li> <li>Pressure/Temperature Transmitters </li> <li>Mass/Mag Flowmeters </li> <li>RTD/Temperature Transmitters </li> <li>PH/ORP/Conductivity Sensors </li> <li>Variable Frequency Drives</li> </ul>Work Environment - Conditions vary and include:Travel as needed.Working conditions vary and include:<ul> <li>Field work covering Texas, New Mexico, and other remote locations</li> <li>Equipment fabrication shops and panel shops</li> </ul>Weather conditions may include:<ul> <li>Hot, cold, and/or inclement</li> <li>Dusty Conditions</li> </ul>Physical Requirements<ul> <li>Ability to work in various weather conditions</li> <li>Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs or more at times</li> <li>Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods</li> </ul>Benefits<ul><ul> <li>Hourly, Non-Exempt</li> <li>Insurance: Major medical, dental, and vision for employee and dependents</li> <li>Cellular Reimbursement - $100/month</li> <li>Company Credit Card</li> <li>Workman’s Compensation</li> <li>Short-Term, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance</li> <li>Hourly Paid Sick Leave</li> <li>Competitive Wages</li> <li>Opportunities for Overtime Hours</li> <li>Transportation Benefits (varies)</li> </ul></ul>EEO Statement:Streamline Innovations, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
