The Queens Knights Robotics Team is a close-knit, interdisciplinary group of ambitious students dedicated to creating advanced robots for the North American RoboMaster competition. Our team provides an inclusive environment for students to collaborate and explore the world of robotics. We are devoted to supporting each member, empowering them with both technical and interpersonal skills to excel in their future pursuits.Our Mission: Empowering students to develop in-demand robotics skills by fostering excellence in the design, fabrication, and programming of advanced robots.As the sponsorship and outreach coordinator, you will be focusing on the following: <ol><li>Developing an outreach strategy to secure financial support and partnerships</li><li>Updating the current sponsorship package and tailoring it to meet the needs and interests of potential sponsors</li><li>Prepare grant applications and proposals to secure additional funding for club activities and projects </li><li>Cold emailing and cold calling potential sponsors, providing information about who we are, what we stand for and what we are seeking</li></ol>Job Qualifications: <ol><li>Demonstrated eagerness to learn, adapt, and actively contribute to team objectives and overall mission</li><li>Genuine interest in business operations, with a curiosity about how organizations build reputations and drive growth</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environments</li></ol>Expectations: You will be expected to attend weekly team meetings and contribute meaningful insight with a time commitments of 2-3 hours a week  For any pending questions or concerns, you can reach out to the Business and Operations Team Lead, Sahib Banwait, at 23jhm @queensu.ca.
