AECOM has a position available in Fort Lauderdale, FL for a Landscape Architect to join the team.  In this role, the selected candidate will be involved with project work that will include public/private projects with an emphasis on municipal, state, and federal projects involving transportation, streetscapes, waterfront development, parks, trails, and open space design, place-making, and planning.The Responsibilities for this role include but may not be limited to, the following:<ul><li>Preparing planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, illustrations and graphics, construction details, construction documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates for a wide variety of public and private sector projects.</li><li>Performing field reviews and analysis of project sites and study areas, and preparing written documentation of observations and conditions.</li><li>Knowledge of construction materials and techniques, including detailing</li><li>Plan and organize multiple projects and effectively work with other Landscape Architects, Designers, and Technicians</li><li>Understand quality control coordination and practice structure, and be able to comply with company standards</li><li>Maintain regular office hours and participate in company functions where appropriate</li><li>Will work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.</li><li>Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. </li><li>May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. </li><li>May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.</li><li>Domestic travel may be required.</li></ul>
