In this role, you will operate and maintain advanced servo-driven press lines to efficiently shape and form metal components. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring high-quality production, troubleshooting machine issues, and contributing to continuous process improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.​</p><p><strong>You Will: </strong></p><ul><li>Operate servo-driven tandem press lines to produce automotive structure parts.​</li><li>Set up automation systems and configure servo press machines to meet job specifications.​</li><li>Load blanks to the destacker, ensuring smooth production flow.​</li><li>Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.​</li><li>Monitor press operation to identify quality issues and address them promptly.​</li><li>Utilize Siemens HMI screens to perform diagnostics and resolve machine faults.​</li><li>Lead/execute automatic die changes and setting up the press line for new jobs.​</li><li>Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and timelines while adhering to safety protocols.​</li></ul><p><strong>You Bring: </strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 1-3 years of stamping experience, preferably with Schuler Tandem Servo Presses.  </li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.​</li><li>Experience with quality assurance practices and addressing machine-related quality issues.​</li><li>Knowledge of press machine parts and functions, including automatic die changes.​</li><li>Familiarity with Siemens HMI screens for error diagnosis and recovery.​</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.​</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production requirements.​</li><li>High school diploma or GED; additional education or apprenticeship is a plus.​</li><li>Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.​</li><li>Fork truck license ability to drive 15K fork truck. </li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high noise levels.​</li><li>Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy materials throughout the shift.​</li><li>Strong visual abilities required for machine setup, operation, and quality checks.​</li><li>Comfortable working and leading in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment.​</li></ul><p> </p></div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
