Then you are ready for the Swapfiets adventure!The next ride starts here:As an HR Operations Intern, you will play an important role in supporting our People &amp; Culture team for Central Europe (Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain and UK).. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations for six different countries while contributing to process improvements, documentation, and internal communications. You’ll be helping us ensure smooth operations and an excellent employee experience across our teams.How you pedal us forward:<ul><li>Supporting sickness management initiatives by gathering data on best practices, helping create trainings and guidelines, and aligning with local frameworks; </li><li>Assisting in reviewing and optimizing People &amp; Culture processes in Central Europe, ensuring alignment with global standards and identifying efficiency opportunities; </li><li>Assisting with Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) updates, including internal communication around changes; </li><li>Creating clear and user-friendly manuals, infosheets, and FAQs, to support employees (e.g., payslip explanations or user guides); </li><li>Developing templates and documentation to support consistency across HR operations; </li><li>Researching and sharing HR best practices to continuously improve our ways of working; </li><li>Reviewing and updating documents to ensure inclusive and accessible language across all People &amp; Culture materials.</li><li>Keeping our People &amp; Culture intranet up to date by mapping, cleaning, and improving content; </li></ul>The gear you need:<ul><li>Currently studying or having a Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources-related field;</li><li>Available to work full-time (40 hours);</li><li>Ready to start in the beginning of October  for 6 months;</li><li>You are detail-oriented and organized;</li><li>You have an inclusive mindset;</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken), Danish, or German is a plus;</li><li>Living in the Amsterdam area or willing to commute (please note that Swapfiets does not offer travel compensation for interns);</li><li>Eager to get your hands dirty; after all, our core business is swapping bikes!</li></ul>Benefits for a smooth ride:<ul><li>An inside perspective of an international growing scale up!</li><li>Your own Swapfiets (lend-lease) 🚲!</li><li>Internship compensation (up to 500 euro per month);</li><li>Awesome lunch in the office for a small contribution;</li><li>Freedom &amp; responsibility;</li><li>A social leave day of volunteering;</li><li>At your Swapservice hours: Work in stores or warehouses for a day to gain hands-on experience in the core of our organization;</li><li>Ambitious, young and enthusiastic colleagues within an international environment;</li><li>Flexibility in working from home or in our beautiful and light office in Amsterdam, with the expectation of being in the office on Tuesdays.</li><li>Friday afternoon drinks with colleagues.</li></ul>Your next ride starts here:You can now directly apply for this vacancy:As soon as we think you've got what it takes to qualify for this position, you will be invited to a 20-minute screening video call.If after the call we both think there is a good fit, you will be invited to an interview with two of our team members.Are you and Swapfiets still as enthusiastic at the end of the process? Swapfiets has a classic origin. A group of friends who have a good idea and are going to try it out. You receive a Swapfiets for a fixed amount per month and we ensure that your Swapfiets always works.

It turned out to be a very good concept. After a period of refurbishing bicycles, Swapfiets has come to the point that it has designed its own bicycle and that the service is going to more and more cities.

The iconic blue front tire is mounted on all bikes. This way it is always clear which Swapfiets bicycles are and who all belong to the family.

In the meantime, more and more people are discovering the convenience that Swapfiets brings. Great service, made simple.
