Our vertically integrated operations, customer-focused culture, and investment in people and technology make ERMCO the Most Valued Partner for delivering resilient, sustainable power infrastructure for the future.</p><p> </p><p>As an Environmental, Safety, &amp; Health Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating programs that result in EHS regulatory compliance.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Assist the EHS Manager with the development and compliance of EHS programs</li> <li>Accountable for compliance with all applicable regulatory and ERMCO EHS and related policies andprocedures.</li> <li>Accountable for Emergency Response functions, roles, and responsibilities in accordance with siteemergency response plan.</li> <li>Supports management/supervision to ensure all site associates understand and comply with allapplicable regulatory, plant and corporate EHS and related policies and procedures.</li> <li>Ensures that all EHS reporting is completed timely and accurately.</li> <li>Ensures that programs exist and are followed for all necessary employee monitoring and testingrequirements are performed appropriately.</li> <li>Assist in developing and maintaining safety systems, policies, and procedures.</li> <li>Inspects facilities, machinery, equipment, and personnel practices to identify potential safety and healthconcerns and hazards.</li> <li>Conducts accident investigation and provides recommendations to prevent re occurrence.</li> <li>Trains employees and management in safe practices and EHS procedures.</li> <li>Ensures that EHS standards are met by all on site contract services.</li> <li>Assist in compliance with SPCC, SWPPP, waste-water compliance, ISO, etc.</li> <li>Assist with risk management inspections and compliance opportunities.</li> <li>Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment,materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in occupational health &amp; safety or similar degree from a four-year college or university</li> <li>1-2 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</li> <li>Five years of EHS experience at the manufacturing level preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li> <li>Excellent time management skills.</li> <li>Self-motivated and self-directed.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills required.</li> <li>Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and power point skills.</li></ul><p>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.</p>
