Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1>The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the precise and safe assembly of mechanical components, including accumulators and pressure vessels, used in demanding industrial applications such as oil &amp; gas and construction. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.<ul><li>Assemble mechanical components including pressure vessels, accumulators, valves, and fittings according to engineering drawings and specifications.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.</li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to perform tasks such as drilling, threading, torquing, and sealing.</li><li>Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or deviations from specifications using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.</li><li>Perform pressure testing and leak testing on assembled units to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve assembly processes.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with OSHA and ASME standards.</li><li>Document work performed, including test results, part traceability, and quality checks.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus.</li><li>Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain attention to detail.</li><li>Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for long durations.</li><li>High level of commitment and flexibility.</li><li>Willingness and ability to work shifts.</li></ul> Communication &amp; Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
