We are seeking undergraduate students in their junior or senior year and graduate students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment. This marketing internship offers a hands-on opportunity to explore donor marketing and nonprofit communications through the lens of legacy giving. The intern will work directly with the Senior Communications Specialist for Planned Giving to support several high-impact projects—ranging from content production and campaign execution to legacy donor stewardship and data analysis. The internship is ideal for students looking to gain experience in nonprofit marketing, communications strategy, and project coordination. Responsibilities:&nbsp;Under the supervision of the Senior Communications Specialist, the intern will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Support the development and production of two national direct marketing campaigns, from concept to launch.</li><li>Assist with campaign project management, content creation, editing, and proofreading.</li><li>Help design a new welcome package and stewardship series for select legacy donors.</li><li>Participate in brainstorming sessions, strategy meetings, and performance evaluations of planned giving marketing.</li><li>Contribute to audience segmentation and message targeting efforts.</li><li>Help collect, refine, and analyze key performance metrics related to Earthjustice’s Planned Giving marketing efforts over the past five years.</li><li>Assist in maintaining campaign records, timelines, and marketing materials in shared workspaces (e.g., <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://Monday.com">Monday.com</a>).&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications: &nbsp;<ul><li>Enrolled in a college/university program as a junior or senior or in a graduate program during spring 2026. Fields of study in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related discipline are preferred.</li><li>Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and tone.</li><li>Demonstrated interest in nonprofit work, social justice, or environmental advocacy.</li><li>Ability to collaborate in a professional, cross-functional environment.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office and comfort navigating online project management tools.</li><li>Commitment of at least 20 hours per week.&nbsp;</li></ul>Compensation:&nbsp;Interns at Earthjustice receive an hourly rate that is considered taxable income.
