If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p></p><p>Your Role:</p><p>o Perform virtual validation of ADAS/AD driving, safety &amp; parking functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Highway Assist, Lane Change Assist, Urban or Highway pilot</p><p>o Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Protection, Automated Parking etc. and/or</p><p>o Create and update the virtual model &amp; simulation setup; create &amp; execute scenarios for features validation at vehicle level, post-process results, generate report, discuss &amp; present results to ADAS leadership for drawing appropriate conclusions.</p><p>o Be responsible for developing necessary pre &amp; post-processing scripts, selection of scenarios, mapping of virtual validation cases with feature requirements while ensuring appropriate model fidelity.</p><p>o Correlate virtual modeling results with actual vehicle test data as necessary and appropriate for different fidelity models.</p><p>o Leverage state-of-the-art processes, virtual validation tools, data transfer &amp; analysis in a highly interactive and collaborative environment.</p><p>o Facilitate and align related cross-functional technical teams such as ADAS software development (motion planning, perception etc.), vehicle chassis, powertrain, infotainment for ADAS system level validation and development activities.</p><p>o Work with suppliers as necessary and represent Lucid ADAS systems validation team.</p><p>o Explore various approaches for virtual validation (HIL, SIL and Vehicle-In-Loop).</p><p>Expectations:</p><p>o At least two years of experience in developing and executing virtual validation test plans for ADAS features on high performance computers or cloud</p><p>o Expert of few of the ADAS virtual simulation tools &amp; methods – IPG CarMaker, Applied Intuition, CARLA, CarSim, Ansys, Simens or other such tools; HiL experience (dSpace/National Instruments etc.)</p><p>o Experience in developing models from scratch, model correlation and executing scenarios on cloud</p><p>o Experience and understanding of Open Scenario format and tools for generating scenarios</p><p>o Experience in working with ADAS or AD automotive features for mass production</p><p>o Working experience at automotive Tier 1/2 suppliers or OEMs in ADAS/AD virtual simulations, with a good command over automotive processes and workflows</p><p>o Programming skills related to simulation automation, results post-processing etc. (e.g. Python, C/C++, MatLab/Simulink)</p><p>o Capability and creativity to successfully complete projects with unconventional ideas in highly constrained, innovative startup environments</p><p>o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) &amp; ownership mindset</p><p>Advantageous:</p><p>o Understanding of SOTIF &amp; coverage, ISO 26262, NCAP</p><p>o Broad understanding of various ADAS/AD systems and the interactions between mechanical, electrical and software components within the system</p><p>o Experience with Vector tools: CANoe, CANape and CAPL</p><p>o Proficiency with agile development tools and environments (Jira, Jama, …)</p><p>Requirements:</p><p>o BS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 8 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry</p><p>OR</p><p>o MS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 6 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry</p><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
