We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.As the Tax Manager, you will manage all aspects of the consolidated and entity level direct and indirect taxes. In this role you will track and implement new legislation and tax policy changes as well as manage the research and planning of new projects/processes. We are looking for an experienced tax manager who is able to collaborate with Legal, Technical Accounting, and other cross-functional business teams.Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of company federal tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms.</li><li>Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax returns and other business related filings.</li><li>Own the preparation and filing of company credits and incentivizes, including R&amp;D</li><li>Implement and maintain processes related to indirect taxes, including Sales and Use, Franchise, Property, and others</li><li>Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes, including transfer pricing studies and cross-border documentation</li><li>Manage external consultants who may be involved in preparation of the company's US federal income tax return and other tax documents.</li><li>Plan for and develop overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs</li><li>Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.</li><li>Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.</li><li>Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.</li><li>Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting</li><li>8+ years of compliance, audit, research and planning experience</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate with Legal, Accounting, and Business team</li><li>Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.</li><li>Familiarity with U.S. federal, state and local reporting requirements.</li><li>Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.</li><li>Experience with R&amp;D Credit and Filing process</li><li>CPA certification</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul style=""><li>Netsuite system experience</li><li>Experience with worldwide intracompany indirect tax issues</li><li>Experience with marketplace facilitator laws, digital goods, sales and use taxes</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Collaborative orientation</li><li>Tax research and policy change proficiency</li></ul>
