In this position, the successful candidate will lead the system architecture, design, development, integration and validation of Energy storage system for commercial markets.</p><p>What you will be doing</p><ul><li><div>Serve as the hands-on central technical systems leader for cross-functional teams including electrical hardware, firmware, software, mechanical engineering, validation, and quality/reliability groups</div></li><li><div>Use rich experience in the systems engineering domain to drive the architecture and development of energy storage systems</div></li><li><div>Participate in early-stage system product developments and ensure successful capture of design &amp; development, test &amp; certification, and service/repair requirements</div></li><li><div>Author the Systems Requirement Document (SRD) along with architectural documents including but not limited to interface documents, sequence diagrams, and integration plans</div></li><li><div>Participate in integration efforts once prototypes are available in the systems engineering labs, including communication and power testing, to ensure the design meets system requirements</div></li><li><div>Lead project execution and pass through multiple stage gates, including owning the design soak in Alpha and Beta, until launching the project to the market</div></li><li><div>Perform grid code compliance studies (steady state, transients, power quality) for grid-tied and grid-agnostic systems</div></li><li><div>Perform failure analysis, troubleshoot, and identify the root cause of complex system-level issues with no supervision</div></li><li><div>Guide system commissioning tool development for the Energy Management System</div></li><li><div>Reproduce field failures in the lab to identify root causes and drive cross-functional teams toward appropriate solutions</div></li><li><div>Work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with a bias for action</div></li><li><div>Mentor and train junior engineers in the team</div></li></ul><p>Who you are and What you bring</p><ul><li><div>ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years’ experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in Power Electronics or Power System Design</div></li><li><div>Experience in developing systems that have a mix of HW, FW, and SW</div></li><li><div>In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systems</div></li><li><div>In-depth understanding of system architecture and system design principles</div></li><li><div>A relentless focus on execution with an ability to dig deep into the details when required to solve problems</div></li><li><div>Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills</div></li><li><div>Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams</div></li><li><div>Familiarity with energy storage, microgrid, and renewable energy systems</div></li><li><div>Experience in modelling and simulation of power electronics or power system components</div></li><li><div>Experience in MATLAB Simulink modelling, integration, and debug skills</div></li><li><div>Experience in frequency domain analysis such as Bode, Nyquist plots, and time domain analysis</div></li><li><div>Ability to understand and analyse complex control algorithms, debug, and root cause complex system issues</div></li><li><div>Knowledge of lithium-ion based energy storage systems and battery management systems</div></li><li><div>Experience in grid-tied inverter design and understanding of advanced grid profile functions</div></li></ul><p> </p><div><br><p> </p></div>
