Purpose of the Job:To drive a proactive culture of learning and continuous improvement within Masdar, ensuring that our people are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a safe and secure work environment where we cause no harm to people the environment or our assets.<ul><li>To develop and implement learning and communications processes for QHSE towards promoting and reinforcing learnings and good practices across the company to enhance understanding and engagement.</li><li>To support in developing and implementing strategies for QHSE that drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance, working closely with the Head of QHSE to identify areas for improvement and create a roadmap for achieving organizational objectives.</li><li>To work closely with cross-functional teams across Masdar to ensure that QHSE strategies are aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Support and implement strategic plans and initiatives related to QHSE learning and continuous improvement that align with the organization's goals and objectives to improve the organization's overall performance.</li><li>Facilitate transformational change programs related to QHSE to drive adoption of new processes, systems, and behaviours.</li><li>Monitor and measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and make adjustments as needed</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives, department communications and engagement.</li><li>Provide thought leadership and guidance to senior executives and stakeholders on industry trends and best practices.</li><li>Align with internal communications to agree on annual department communications plan.</li><li>Contribute QHSE stories/content to internal news feeds.</li><li>Develop and implement QHSE-specific internal communication plans to drive a safety culture, define objectives, metrics, stakeholders, and align to business needs for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.</li><li>Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leading efforts to identify and implement QHSE continuous improvement opportunities within Masdar. This includes analysing performance metrics, conducting audits, leading incident investigations, conducting safety cultural surveys, and engaging with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>The job holder will then develop and implement strategies to enhance QHSE performance, reduce risks, and drive operational excellence.</li><li>Ensure that incident investigation processes and procedures are in place for carrying out meaningful investigations to uncover the root causes and lessons learned</li><li>Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the knowledge and QHSE skills within Masdar. This includes identifying training needs, creating relevant content, and delivering effective training sessions to promote continuous improvement.</li><li>Provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization on all matters related to QHSE. This includes offering expert advice, answering queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure QHSE requirements are met.</li></ul>
