Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the finance function in the entity / reporting unit</li><li>Align commercial expectations with the local Managing Directors in order to translate business plans into finance plans</li><li>Deliver high-quality finance support and consultancy to managers in the entity</li><li>Provide Division CFO, Business Unit CFO and Country Management with performance data, reports and analytics</li><li>Analyze value-drivers on entity-level, develop and establish financial and non-financial KPIs</li><li>Manage the Cost center planning and reporting processes</li><li>Prepare budget review meetings and monthly results forecasts</li><li>Support internal performance initiatives (e.g., working capital improvement, cost efficiency programs, …) and monitor long-term effect</li><li>Ensure on-time reporting to GEA / Division</li><li>Prepare year-end accounts</li><li>Be first point of contact for auditors</li><li>Manage local tax affairs</li><li>Organize internal controls (risk management/compliance)</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsQualifications:<ul><li>Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, plus 5-7+ years of extensive experience within Operational Finance OR</li><li>Bachelor's degree plus 10-15 years of experience</li><li>Advanced knowledge and skills in accounting or controlling</li><li>Deep understanding of all systems that interact across the spectrum of Finance</li><li>Strong financial modeling skills as well as business and data analysis skills</li><li>Understanding of other than just financial matters</li><li>Deep business understanding</li><li>Ability to manage statutory requirements</li><li>Analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically </li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational skills</li><li>A track record in leading a team</li><li>Strong top line and target orientation with a strong people orientation</li><li>Intercultural experience &amp; skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion, conviction and well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain &amp; build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders)</li><li>Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%</li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $144,480.00 - 184,000.00 per year.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
