We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Capture and validate electrical related requirements</li><li>Define electrical hardware logic control, as applicable</li><li>Create electrical schematics/sizing to feed EWIS team</li><li>Review/approve electrical diagrams/installation documentation/activities</li><li>Analyze electrical functionality of Safety documents</li><li>Evaluate ECS components electrical characteristics</li><li>Coordinate components simulation (as an input to Flight Science team)</li><li>Evaluate system performance under normal/abnormal electrical transients</li><li>Define electrical interfaces: Create and maintain eICD</li><li>Define Flight Test instrumentation electrical interfaces</li><li>Prepare and maintain “Electrical Load characteristics document” </li><li>Establish voltage drop levels for optimized wiring weight and system performance</li><li>Review DO160 Electrical sections equipment qualification </li><li>Qualification (electrical) documents review/approval</li><li>Write or assist writing of test procedures.</li><li>Write test reports and analysis statements</li><li>Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate systems</li></ul>What you’ll need:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Experience: Approximately 10 years of professional experience in electrical, automation preferably with exposure to thermal systems or aviation-related projects.</li><li>Technical Curiosity: A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and interdisciplinary topics, including thermal management, aerodynamics, and control systems.</li><li>Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication to document work and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Relevant skills include:<ul><li>Understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, or automation processes, including sensors, batteries, inverters, fans, compressors and actuators</li><li>Hands-on experience with lab equipment for testing and validation.</li><li>Basic understanding of project workflows, timelines, and documentation to support team efficiency.</li></ul>Bonus qualifications:<ul><li>Aviation Experience: While familiarity with aerospace or aviation projects (e.g., environmental control systems, avionics cooling, or thermal management for aircraft components) is valuable, we especially welcome candidates from non-aviation backgrounds to bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to our already robust aviation team.</li><li>Understanding of high voltage components development (~800VDC).
