You will partner cross-functional departments to ensure financial information is appropriately reported and stored according to IRS and state guidelines.Our ideal candidate has five or more years of experience in accounts payable, close attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  This will start as a temporary position for 3-months at which time we will evaluate the need for the role to be sustained permanently. Roles &amp; Responsibilities  <ul><li>Review and process vendor invoices in Stampli which is integrated with NetSuite</li><li>Ensure two-way and three-way matching vendor bills against purchase orders and item receipts</li><li>Prepare pay runs by subsidiary</li><li>Respond to vendor invoice/payment inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner</li><li>Accurately assign cost center and project codes to invoices</li><li>Ensure proper sales and use tax is accrued, as necessary</li><li>Follow up with sales tax exclusion, partial exemption certificates or CA resale certificates</li><li>Initiate payment runs including ACH, wires and checks</li><li>Process and audit expense reports in accordance to Antora's expensing policies (using Expensify) </li><li>Process credit card charges daily</li><li>Assist with year-end 1099 reporting and filing</li><li>Assist in all relevant aspects of the month-end close process</li><li>Support audit requests</li><li>Perform other ad hoc tasks to support team objectives as required </li></ul>Key Qualifications <ul><li>5+ years of proven accounting or accounts payable experience</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li><li>Demonstrated mastery of fundamental accounting principles</li><li>Proven high-performance in AP accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li><li>Track record of producing high quality accounting work on time and with precision in high-volume work environments</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Approachable customer service orientation and “can do” attitude</li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects</li><li>Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel</li><li>Significant experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise reporting systems.</li></ul>Additional Qualifications Desired <ul><li>Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting</li><li>Understanding of US GAAP as it applies to invoice processing in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Must be a team player who also works well independently.</li></ul>Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CAHourly Pay Range:  $38 - $45 USDPlease note that the salary range listed above reflects Antora Energy's estimated pay for this position.
