You will be required to understand and work with Tokamak Energy quality and management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 &amp; ISO 45001.Requirements<ul> <li>Relevant working knowledge of HSE requirements </li> <li>Previous experience within a health &amp; safety role ideally within an engineering environment. </li> <li>Excellent working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation. </li> <li>Good knowledge and practical application of HSE legislation.</li> <li>Experience of working to ISO45001/OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 standards.</li> <li>Competent communicator (both written and verbal). </li> <li>Relevant qualification in Health &amp; Safety</li> <li>Relevant membership of IOSH</li> </ul>Responsibilities<ul> <li>Be part of a proactive EHS team that works across the company and with all stakeholders to implement and maintain a world class safety culture.</li> <li>Provide competent advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality including hazard identification, the preparation and implementation of safe systems of work and risk assessments and make them a reality for everyone.</li> <li>Compile accident and incident reports and undertake incident investigations as required.</li> <li>Collate accident statistics, categorise accidents and undertake trend analysis, root cause identification, and recommended preventive action.</li> <li>Conduct safety and environmental audits and implement corrective measures as required.</li> <li>Prepare collate and review safety related documentation submitted by both internal and external stakeholder’s including - Safety Plans, Training documents, Confined spaces, noise and vibration assessments, MSDS / COSHH data and assessments and environmental risk assessment’s</li> <li>Implement proactive and reactive safety measures as required</li> <li>Liaise with Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency or other government appointed body as required</li> <li>Ensure site compliance with the Health and Safety policies and procedures</li> <li>Promoting a positive and proactive culture towards health, safety, and environmental matters at all levels within the business. </li> <li>Support the delivery internal EHS training/coaching sessions as necessary to new and existing employees and members of the supply chain as required.
