The Energy Division at Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. Provide clear and consistent communications on projects and tasks and raise any concerns or issues before they become problems, provide and receive constructive feedback, and manage expectations.</li> <li>Communicate with Cadmus Energy Division leadership and support teams, including accounting, accounts payable, contracts, and operations regarding the health and status of all projects and tasks.</li> <li>Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients, in varying time zones.</li></ul>Client Delivery<ul> <li>Nurture and build existing client relationships as a primary point of contact.</li> <li>Provide clear and consistent communications on project activities, status, findings, challenges, or concerns.</li> <li>Develop detailed reports and presentations of results, findings, methodologies, and data sources, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to clients.</li></ul>Business Development<ul> <li>Identify, cultivate, develop, and execute business development opportunities, including relationship-based opportunities to expand work with existing clients and obtain new work by supporting scope, budget, and proposal development.</li> <li>Collaborate with colleagues on business development efforts.</li> <li>Build Cadmus reputation through conference presentations and papers.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science.</li> <li>Between 8-10 years of experience managing or leading research or planning projects that include both qualitative and quantitative techniques.</li> <li>Industry experience in utilities, energy efficiency, energy efficiency program planning, and/or resource planning.</li> <li>Direct experience working on or supporting demand-side management potential studies.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple projects and project teams, preferably in a consulting environment.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of concepts related to energy efficiency, DR, solar, battery storage, electrification, and distributed energy resource potential studies.</li> <li>Experience in data analysis and interpretation.</li> <li>Experience with project planning and budget management.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate complicated issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul> <li>Master of Arts or Science in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science.</li> <li>Prior experience managing, evaluating, or modeling demand response programs.</li> <li>Prior consulting experience including working independently to make decisions as well as collaborating in a team environment.</li> <li>Experience with staff management, mentorship, and skills development.</li> <li>Business development experience.</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced skills with R or Python.</li></ul>Additional Information: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen. Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs. The minimum starting salary for this position is $85,000.
