The role is based at our Distribution Center in Lynchburg, VA and reports to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager.Job Summary HARCO Fittings is seeking a Distribution Center Manager (DCM) works in collaboration with other departments to ensure that HARCO properly responds to the needs of our customers. The Primary responsibility of the DCM is to the Health and Safety of all employees at the facility. The DCM is also responsible for the overall performance of the Distribution Center (DC), the adherence to CT-PAT policies, operating budget, staffing requirements, meeting customer oriented KPI’s.<h1>Principal Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Manage the Distribution Operations according to the existing service and quality standards defined by HARCO.</li><li>Develop, promote and manage the different aspects of Health &amp; Safety</li><li>Manage and develop the DC team in a way that ensures team cohesion and effectiveness in offering prompt and accurate customer service.</li><li>Develop, promote and manage the different aspects of Health &amp; Safety, as well as Human Resources.</li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy through the use of the RF technology and also cycle and physical counts.</li><li>Assist in the development of the operating budget and, once approved, manage it;</li><li>Use Continuous Improvement principles to make operations more efficient while improving customer service.
