This is an exciting time to join a developing operation with global impact, where your contributions shape real-world results. About the Role We're looking for a Tier 1 Remote Technician to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. In this role, you’ll monitor robotic hives across the U.S., troubleshoot system alerts, and coordinate hands-on responses with field technicians and beekeepers. **This position is based in our San Ramon, California office. **You’ll play a critical part in helping bees do their job — by ensuring the tech behind them keeps running smoothly. What You’ll Do<ul><li>Monitor robotic hives and facility health via telemetry and control dashboards</li><li>Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for issues flagged by the system</li><li>Write and assign service tasks for field technicians, including priority and context</li><li>Support real-time decision-making in coordination with beekeepers and ops teams </li><li>Maintain detailed incident records and escalate technical challenges to Tier 2 or Engineering </li><li>Work flexible hours as needed, aligned with field activity schedules and coordination with our Israel-based NOC </li><li>Support and operate demonstration machines as part of technical showcase and validation efforts</li></ul>What We’re Looking For <ul><li>1–2 years’ experience in technical support, NOC, or remote operations </li><li>Strong troubleshooting mindset and confidence in interpreting system alerts</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication (English) </li><li>Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups </li><li>Willingness to adapt to dynamic schedules based on field needs </li><li>Comfortable with ticketing systems and live dashboards (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, proprietary tools) </li><li>Experience in agri-tech, robotics, automation, or IoT </li><li>Previous field coordination or dispatch operations </li><li>Basic understanding of embedded systems or telemetry </li><li>Beekeeping experience — nice to have </li></ul>Location &amp; Work Environment San Ramon, California You'll collaborate closely with teams in the U.S. and Israel, supporting a scaling international operation

We've designed a safe, natural and productive environment allowing bees a healthier and more natural way of living. We must never forget that the traditional hives most commonly used in the world today (Langstroth box) were designed by us, humans, about 150 years ago. Most people are so used to them that we mistakenly confuse them with bees' natural habitat. That is far from being the case. By completely redesigning the beehive we were able to address a lot of the inefficiencies of the commonly used hives and significantly improve bees&rsquo; well-being and life longevity. For us, bees come first; our customers come second; and then all the rest.</div>
