Under immediate direction, provides timely response of customer inquiries up to and including pick-ups, schedules, product orders, etc., and all other aspects of a customer’s needs.  Dispatches vehicles on a pre-set route for each CSR on a daily basis in the interest of efficient customer service.  The Dispatcher also monitors compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations. The job interfaces frequently with clients, peers, and managers.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):<ul><li>Assists drivers with problems/issues as issues arise (during the day or at the end of the route).</li><li>Communicate driver issues with Customer Service, Transportation Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.</li><li>Assist Customer Service with customer requests, route changes, rescheduling for pickups/missed stops.</li><li>Provides highest level of customer service to all customers in line with Customer 1st objectives. </li><li>Monitor and escalate Salesforces cases to supervisor</li><li>Assist walk-in customers area. </li><li>Assist Transportation Supervisor on Logistics and Transportation.</li><li>Understand and review daily the Atlas routing system.</li><li>Conduct daily debriefs for all drivers in accordance with written SOPs. </li><li>Assist drivers with handheld/printer use. Ensure handheld entry back-up to mobile hub.   Resolve/escalate issues related to handhelds/mobile hub.</li><li>Build and print routes for drivers daily, including but not limited to shipping documents, route sheets, barcode labels.</li><li>Dispatch drivers for extra or missed pick-ups.</li><li>Create/distribute load sheets</li><li>Reviews driver’s paperwork (VCR and logbook) and files paperwork. </li><li>Forwards VCR (Vehicle Condition Report) reports to Transportation Supervisor/Manager for maintenance request. </li><li>Review and updates routes, new customers based on daily communication, reroutes existing customers as required. </li><li>Complete consolidated manifests for trailer shipments.</li><li>Ensures that routes are balanced daily. </li><li>Prepares reviews and stamps all manifests. </li><li>Assists Trans Supervisor/Manager as needed/directed.</li><li>Download PDTs from previous night.</li><li>Handle 3rd Party Hauler paperwork.</li><li>Track and input DOT hours/ JJ Keller. </li><li>Monitors Company policies and procedures, communicating to staff, as necessary.</li><li>Communicate performance standards and objectives.</li><li>Monitors operations and work of all CSRs. </li><li>Keeps staff informed of current problems, changes, and new developments in the department and company by conducting professional, organized, and participative meetings. </li><li>Perform any other administrative duties assigned by management.</li></ul>
