Due to a strong project pipeline, AECOM’s Energy Team is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Secondary Engineer to lead and deliver complex secondary systems projects. Based in Melbourne. this role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with strong consultancy experience, technical leadership capabilities, and a client-focused mindset. You will work across transmission and distribution projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.How you’ll make a difference:<ul><li>Act as Project Lead and Technical Authority on secondary systems projects.</li><li>Prepare, review, and sign off on detailed design drawings, protection reports, and relay configurations to meet Australian Standards and client requirements.</li><li>Lead project teams, oversee timelines and budgets, with continued guidance and support to peer engineers.</li><li>Serve as a client-facing contact, providing advice, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring clear, professional communication.</li></ul>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across transmission, distribution, renewables, traction power, and other multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative and technically outstanding solutions. .
