In this role, you will be responsible for validating the reliability, performance, and functionality of embedded Linux firmware and applications, with a focus on networking protocol testing and automation. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:<ul><li>Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of Linux-based applications running on embedded systems.</li><li>Validate system-level interactions including process handling, service management, and CLI-based tools.     </li><li>Integrate automated test cases into existing test frameworks and CI pipelines.</li><li>Analyze firmware behavior and log outputs to identify bugs and performance issues.</li><li>Work closely with firmware, networking, and tools teams to understand features and define appropriate test coverage.</li><li>Provide early feedback on requirements and design documents from a testability perspective.</li><li>Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.</li><li>Track and report test coverage, pass/fail metrics, and automation status.</li></ul> Desired Skills/Competencies<ul><li style="text-align:left;">Experience in testing networking protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, TCP/IP, ICMP etc.</li><li style="text-align:left;">Having experience in testing Linux applications.</li><li style="text-align:left;">Experience with source control and automated build systems</li><li style="text-align:left;">Experience with Python scripting language </li></ul> Behavioral Competencies<ul><li>Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li><li>Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-learning, self-motivating and flexibility</li><li>Strong customer focus</li><li>Flair for creativity and innovation</li></ul> Qualifications and Additional Requirements<ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualification - B.
